Yanming Zhu, MD
Yanming Zhu is a Ph.D. student at Harvard University in the Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology program (SHBT), working at the Brain Modulation Lab for his thesis project. Born and raised in Shanghai, after which he went to medical school at Fudan University and trained at Huashan Hospital. His long-term research goals include using state-of-the-art electrophysiology, machine learning, and combined with advanced brain implants in understanding brain functions and providing insights into next-generation therapeutics. His career goal is as an academic neurosurgeon interplaying with clinical, research, device development, and education.
