Annika graduated with a Master of Science in Computational Linguistics from Brandeis University in 2024, having previously completed a BA in Linguistics at University of Toronto. At the lab, she uses her expertise in text-based machine learning models to develop a full-stack application to automatically extract specific information such as medication totals over time from clinical notes using LLMs, in order to facilitate research with this data.
