Brain Modulation Lab welcomes Ali Tafreshi, MD

 Funded by a generous grant from the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation, Ali R. Tafreshi, MD, PGY-4 neurosurgery resident at Geisinger Health System joins the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School for an enfolded research fellowship in psychiatric neurosurgery with Dr. Mark Richardson, MD PhD and the Brain Modulation Laboratory. His project is in collaboration with Dr. Darin D. Dougherty, MD, Director of the Neurotherapeutics Division in the Department of Psychiatry at MGH. During his time in the lab, Ali will study the planning, clinical results, and optimization of sensing-enabled neuromodulation for obsessive-compulsive disorder.
