Brain Modulation Lab Participates in AskBio’s MSA-101 Study
Dr. Richardson and the Brain Modulation Lab launched their participation in AskBio’s Regenerate MSA-101 study, a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled Phase I trial evaluating the safety and preliminary efficacy of AAV2-GDNF (AB-1005) delivered to the putamen as a treatment for Multiple System Atrophy, Parkinsonian subtype. The study is administrated by senior program manager Erin Donahue, with research coordinators Soumya Peri, Leah Barz-Snell, Jacob Ryan, and Pranita Sannidhi. Importantly for this study, the team established a double-blind intraoperative MRI workflow and relationships with inpatient care teams to coordinate care between research and clinical staff.
