Suk Joon Lee, MD, PhD
SJ is a neurosurgery resident at MGH doing an enfolded functional neurosurgery fellowship with dedicated research time in the Brain Modulation lab. His prior research focused on dopamine dependent changes in basal ganglia neural activity during learning processes, using optical measurement of neural activity. His current research focus is understanding therapeutic mechanism and parameters of responsive neurostimulation (RNS) in epilepsy patients. He enjoys skiing and rock climbing with his daughter during his free time.
